Food, Drink, Tobacco, Firearms
The Palestine YMCA is a tobacco-free facility. No firearms or weapons are allowed into the facility. No candy, gum, food or drinks (except water bottles) are allowed past the front lobby area.
Mobile Communication Devices
To help protect the privacy of our members and guests, communication devices with camera abilities are not permitted into the facility.
Locker Rooms
To make your YMCA experience more comfortable, we provide lockers for use during your visit. Our full-size lockers are for daily use only. Please bring your own lock and secure your items. Our half-size lockers and quarter-size lockers are available for rent for $5 and $3 a month, respectively. To make it even more convenient, we can add your locker rental fee to a monthly draft. Children over the age of 5 years should use the locker room appropriate for his or her gender. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items, so please do not leave items unsecured or unattended.

Guest Policy 12 years and under: $8.00 - 13 years and older: $10.00 Guests must be accompanied by a member and stay with the member while in the facility. The member is ultimately responsible for their guest. There is no limit to the number of visits by guests at this time. Only one guest is allowed per member per visit. No Refunds will be issued for guest passes. Guests 16 and older must supply a photo ID, such as a drivers license, at the service desk during their visit. Guests 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older all all times. Guests ages 13-15 years old must have a parent or legal guardian complete a guest form before the guest may use the facility. Should a guest decide to join, three guest fees within 30 days may be applied to the joiner's fee. During high-attendance events at the Y, the front desk may enforce a "no reentry" policy for security and safety reasons for a set period of time. All guests must be notified at time of purchase of the "no reentry"period.
AWAY (Always Welcome At the Y) members must sign in at the fron desk when entering the facility. AWAY guests must supply their YMCA membership card so that our staff may verify a current membership. AWAY guests may visit up to 3 times within a 3 month period. After the third visit, AWAY vistors enjoy a 50% discount off the adult or youth guest fee. |

Dress Requirements

Refund and Cancellation Policy Activity: If you withdraw from any program for any reason 3-days prior to its start date, you will receive a complete refund minus a $10.00 cancellation fee. If you withdraw from a program after it has begun, you will receive a 50% refund of the remaining balance or 100% credit towards another program. There will be no refunds for less than $10.00. Persons requesting a refund must bring their receipt, fill out a refund request and submit it before funds will be processed. Refunds and vouchers will be issued only to the person listed on the receipt as the purchaser. NO exceptions. Membership: In order to cancel any membership (draft or invoice), the YMCA must receive all membership cards. There is a 30 day written notice required to cancel any membership on draft. A member may put his/her membership on hold for medical reasons if it is documented by a physician, and for no longer than 90 days. Previous members who wish to rejoin after their membership has lapsed for 30 days or more must pay the joiner's fee again. There are no refunds for Guest Passes. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OF JOINER'S FEES OR MEMBERSHIP DUES. |
